The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of our new charity store opening in Mt Roskill. This position is an immediate start. Recruiting and rostering volunteers, managing and merchandising donations, sales, and promotions both in store and online are all part of the daily tasks.
Depending on how soon you start with us, you may have a unique opportunity to be involved in the setup of the store from scratch. This is a great opportunity for a person who has experience in retail or a keen interest in learning all facets of our charity.
From a retail perspective this is a sought after role. Working with volunteers means you have a team on board that are really passionate to be there. Primary Outcomes
The store manager is responsible for the profitable operations of the store. They will have a budget to work with, measurable targets to achieve and an opportunity to imprint our vision in the community.
The role will report to the Senior Co-Ordinator who supports the day to day running of the trust and the Trustees who implement the strategic vision. There is a need for autonomy, accountability and flexibility as you have the primary sole responsibility for the store.

Basic-Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products (Mail/spreadsheets etc)
We use a Microsoft Teams environment so experience or a willingness to learn
Create and format professional documents and letters
Ability to navigate social media and professional platforms
