Job Description

We are seeking a team player to lead our growing Customer Service & Dispatch Team. Customer Service & Dispatch plays an important role in the success of Surmanti. They are the interface between Surmanti and our Customers. The Customer Service and Dispatch Team provide accurate and responsive processing of Customer orders and inquiries.

The purpose of this position is to train, mentor and lead the Surmanti Customer Service and Dispatch Team to deliver the best Surmanti experience to our customers. This includes the prioritising, planning and scheduling of tasks for the Team to efficiently meet the customer demands and attend to customer inquiries in a friendly, positive manner.

Duties include:

  • Allocating orders to the team for processing and fulfilment.
  • Providing training, direction and supervision for the dispatch and customer service team.
  • Picking and packing orders.
  • Responding to customer inquiries via email and telephone.
  • Dealing with couriers.
  • Support the Factory Manager in achieving team functions and responsibilities.

Full training will be provided however we are ideally seeking a team member with the following attributes:

  • Stores, dispatch experience.
  • Supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Sound computer literacy.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Excellent communications skills.
