Job Description

PERSOLKELLY (PSK) brings together the legacy and experience of four organisations that shaped the staffing landscape over the past century: Kelly Services, who pioneered the modern temporary help industry in 1946; SKILLED, who crafted the staffing industry in Australia in 1964; Programmed, the leading provider of operations and maintenance services across Australia and New Zealand; and PERSOLKELLY, the largest workforce solutions provider in APAC.

Our Professional Services team is hiring multiple Resourcing Specialist roles to work exclusively on the Census 2023 recruitment project, one of the most significant government recruitment projects in New Zealand! These positions are fixed term for 4 months from 1st October 2022 to 31st January 2023. You have a solid support structure reporting to your local Team Leader, while working alongside Recruitment Consultants and your peers both locally and nationally. Comprehensive training will be provided too.

Your main client is Statistics NZ, and you will be surrounded by a team of experts, both internally and externally, who have been working on delivery design and operational excellence for the past year.

Joining our Census team means you too can take advantage of the depth and breadth of our expertise and capability, creating opportunity for you at any scale. Whether you are looking for the next step in your career, or you want exposure working on one of the largest government recruitment projects, PERSOLKELLY can offer you a structured career path, ongoing training, innovative tools of the trade and a busy, dynamic team to support you along the journey.

The Role:

Ideally, we’d be keen on individuals with either inhouse or recruitment agency experience, however this is not essential. We’re keen to engage with proactive and fast-paced individuals looking to enter or step-up into the world of recruitment; if you have 1+ years’ experience in HR, Customer Service, Call Centre, Administration, Sales, Marketing, Community Services, Education, Training, Hospitality, Government, or a related industry we’d love to chat with you.

On a Day-to-Day Basis You Will:

  • Reviewing incoming applicant CVs, initial phone screening
  • Following-up on documentation required
  • Conducting reference and police checks
  • Database management, ensuring systems and processes are up to date
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • High level of candidate care and communication
  • Prioritising your task list while being tenacious
  • Supporting your peers, being a true team player

Shortlisted applicants will be phone screened, interviewed via Teams, then invited to view our workspace (if possible) at the final meet and greet.
