About the role 

As the lead for the Project Management team, you would be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the team to ensure the successful completion of key organisational projects / programmes.

  • Implement and maintain project management best practice, including change management, dependency management, project communications and key metrics
  • Perform project audits and post implementation reviews for larger projects / programmes - identifying areas of success and failure and then developing necessary changes to methodologies and processes
  • Analyse and report on project spend against financial targets to enable accurate forecasting and valuable data interpretation for future improvements across all IT projects
  • Ensure the maximisation of project performance and efficiency across projects through continuous improvement in training, methodology tools and reporting
  • Working to transform our services and paid/volunteer workforce to ensure that patients, customers and communities receive the highest standard of care and our services are financially sustainable. 

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive and effective project management experience - within a large and complex environment - with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within tight timeframes.
  • Expert project management skills, coupled with a developed understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies
  • Extensive experience in business analysis, process re-engineering and project management
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovations, action plans, strategies and procedures.
  • Provide positive leadership to all people across the functional area and promote a positive organisational image.
  • Delivery focused and results driven.
