We are looking for a Conference On-day Host to assist with customer facing duties at our business conferences, awards and expos in Auckland.
If you have some spare time on your hands and would like to use it profitably, this could be just the role for you!
At our events you will be the first person our delegates, sponsors and speakers meet when they arrive. You will look after them throughout the day, making sure they feel well looked after, are catered at the right times and be available to make sure they have everything they need to relax and enjoy their event experience.
You will be a key part of the team delivering events on the day, starting with greeting and registering our attendees, handing out name badges, liaising with the venue and Conference Manager, and assisting with administration.
It's not rocket science, but it is a fun, customer facing role for the right person and would suit someone who is outgoing, efficient and organised. You need to work well as part of the event team, like people and enjoy customer service – it is essential our Hosts are friendly, smiling, helpful, willing and welcoming.
The work will vary between days of the week. Some weeks are very busy with several events running, while on other weeks we may not have any events. As this is a casual role, our roster may not suit you if you already have other regular Monday-Friday commitments.
Please note this role requires a reasonable level of fitness as you will be moving around the building and be on your feet for long periods of time.
