This is a great part time gig! Our current staff have been with us for years and years, and the opportunity to join this team does not come along very often…
The role is 3 hours per day (approximately 7am to 10am), 4 days a week.
You will order linen daily (on a tablet – kind of like online shopping!) and unpack the linen into the ward cupboards.
You’ll also be able to solve any issues that crop up from time to time, be available for urgent deliveries within the hospital and genuinely be interested in making sure the wards and areas get the linen they need.
We are looking for a customer focused, reliable person to join this awesome team. The role is away from our base of operations in Palmerston North, so we need a self-managing, conscientious person to join our small, dedicated team of on-site representatives of Allied Laundry. The ideal candidate will enjoy the nature of the role and be fully committed to providing a faultless service to Taranaki Base Hospital.
As this role is within a hospital environment, a police check will be required under the Children’s Act 2014.
Allied Laundry Services Ltd is a laundry company partnership owned by Te Whatu Ora, operating in the Lower North Island. Our goal is to provide an efficient laundry operation that will meet the laundering needs of the Capital and Coast, Hutt Valley, Taranaki, Whanganui, Hawkes Bay and MidCentral regions.
