What we offer:
- NZ Industry leading pay - qualified driver rates is $28.00 per hour (being raised to $30 later in 2023)
- Paid training to get you on the road and driving buses
- Guaranteed 80 hours per fortnight with a rotating 7 days roster. Note that our shifts are not 14 hours long and only 19% are split shifts (where there is 2 or more subsequent hours between work shifts).

We aim to set you up for success with full training and ongoing support.
We are looking for:
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills, you'll enjoy talking to people
- A safe and confident driver having held a full Class 1 licence for at least 2 years with a clean driving record
- The ability to train and achieve your Class 2 or Class 4 licence, as well as obtain a Passenger Endorsement - bonus points if you already have either of these!

In 2018 Tranzurban began operating 60% of the Metlink bus network under contract to Greater Wellington Regional Council . This includes delivering urban services in Wairarapa, Hutt Valley and Wellington city.
Tranzurban also contracts to Auckland Transport in servicing the NX2 route on Auckland's North Shore.
