Great opportunity for experienced logistics storeperson to secure 3 month contract in a unique marine location.
About the opportunity:
We are looking for a logistics storeperson for a large project in Devonport that will run for 3 months initially, with a strong possibility to extend. This role includes inspecting and receipting goods received, issuing and dispatching materials, and ensuring all deliveries are made in a timely manner.
To apply you will need the following skills + experience:
- 2 plus years of experience in a warehousing and logistics environment
- A current forklift licence is desirable
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Great attention to detail with strong communication and written skills
- Understanding of worksite safety rules.
- Excellent computer skills
- A current clean driver’s licence
- You must be able to drive a manual vehicle
- A clean criminal record
It would also be preferable for you to have:
- SAP experience
- Experience working within an engineering or defense environment

Our client is a stable, essential service business who is the major provider of engineering services to the marine industry in NZ, operating at NZ’s largest dry dock. They undertake major projects for the refurbishment of Naval vessels and offer a range of short and long term project based contracts.
