We now have opportunities with our Canterbury Emergency Ambulance Service for non-clinical people to work in the cutting-edge Christchurch Make Ready Hub, located in the Christchurch CBD, as casual Ambulance Resource Assistants (what we call internally - Operational Resource Assistants or ORAs).
This is an important ambulance support role with a primary focus to prepare Hato Hone St John vehicles for operational readiness which means you'll be an essential worker supporting our front-line emergency service. There will also be additional duties and project work as required.
Please note that this role does not include responding to medical emergencies and does not have a clinical component.
We're looking for flexible and adaptable people who are interested in working casually - generally covering weekends/nights.
