Duty Manager – Part Time Permanent Role

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work with a small close-knit team.  We are initially offering the right person a part time permanent position working 21 rostered hours per week, workdays include Thursday, Friday and Saturday.  Additional days are available when other staff are on leave.  This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, and customer focused with experience working in a small team in a sales and/or service environment. 

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, our Duty Managers perform a vital role within our business, as they work closely with our customers to ensure a seamless service is provided. 

 

As Duty Manager you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the facility which include answering sales enquiries and maximising sales conversion, maintaining our strong customer service standards, taking reservations and payments, conducting facility tours, computer use and other administrative activities.  You will also be required to undertake light property maintenance and cleaning tasks to maintain our high cleanliness standards.  We all chip in when needed. 

 

About You

You will be dependable, reliable, computer literate and have a caring, warm, and friendly personality. You will need to be mature minded, fit and healthy. 

The successful applicant will have the following attributes.

  • Excellent sales skills and experience in a sales role 
  • Ability to self-motivate and enjoy contributing to a team environment 
  • Good level of computer literacy 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to think on their feet and problem solve 
  • Good work ethic, reliable and honest
  • Clean Police record 

 

We will provide you industry training, a positive and inclusive work environment and full support from our head office.  You will need to have a full current NZ Drivers Licence, NZ Citizenship, a clean criminal history, relevant sales and customer service experience and a positive attitude.
