We are looking for a true bike industry veteran leader who is passionate about delivering expert service and experience to our customers.
Able to walk the talk you will be equally at home on the floor with our customers as you will be behind the scenes completing operational tasks related to the bike department such as ordering and billing. You will understand the importance to drive the bike department business, have the capability to coach and inspire your team to building a culture of exceptional customer service.
The successful applicant would ideally have a wealth of bike industry experience and be a sales guru. You will be calm under pressure, know how to motivate a tight knit crew, manage stock flow, be customer led and computer proficient. Knowledge of our current range and the ability to fit bikes is a bonus.
Torpedo7 is growing! Our passionate people enjoy careers that provide inspiring experiences, exciting challenges and amazing benefits. They also know that Torpedo7 is committed to developing its talent, which allows for a wide scope of amazing opportunities as the business continues to grow. We are also part of The Warehouse Group, meaning there is plenty of scope for career development and staff benefits that extend well beyond the traditional outdoors industry.
The Warehouse Group is the parent brand that owns and supports The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7, 1-day and The Market.
As NZ’s largest retailer our purpose is simple; “helping kiwis live better every day”. It means we strive to meet our customer’s changing expectations and continue to ensure we have a positive impact on our communities and environment.
We employ over 12,000 team members across the country and have a commitment to giving all people fair and equal opportunities, actively working to eliminate barriers that often prevent candidates from being considered for a role. As a committed member of EEO we are constantly looking for measures we can take to ensure we hire on merit, operate with fairness and promote based on talent. We want to ensure our team can perform at their best and are rewarded fairly. This isn’t just the right thing to do, but makes great business sense. As a group we benefit because when all team members are included and supported to bring their whole and best selves to work, we retain our finest people and the innovation that comes from true diversity of thought.
Here at The Warehouse Group, we are also proud to offer a range of benefits that work for our team members, their lifestyle and their career – such as a team discount card across our brands, lifestyle leave, a paid day off on your birthday, career break options, and loads more!
