About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Process Technician/Engineer. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of production processes. This role involves hands-on work in a manufacturing environment, troubleshooting equipment issues, and contributing to process improvement initiatives and would suit someone looking to take a step back at work on a part time basis. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and monitor production machinery according to procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance/ Troubleshooting on production machinery for optimal performance
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency
  • Implement changes to improve overall process performance
  • Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials and finished products
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports

 
Skills + Experience:
For this role you will need:

  • Degree or background in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in a production technician or engineering role in manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and part of a close knit team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • A commitment to Health & Safety and following process
