A day in the life

Supporting kiwi with their everyday finance needs so that they can reach their financial goals by:

  • Speaking with 50-60 customers daily.
  • Having valuable conversations about customer banking enquiries.
  • Doing account balance checks.
  • Setting up accounts for new customers.
  • Credit card applications or fraud inquiries.
  • Identifying other banking products that might help customers have an even greater Kiwibank experience.

  • You love talking on the phone and have a professional and warm telephone manner.
  • You are adaptable, calm, collected and passionate about providing advice and support.
  • You can listen to customers’ needs and recommend the right products or services to help them be financially better off.
  • You have excellent conflict management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and;
  • You have excellent computer skills, are a fast learner and can navigate multiple systems.

Our contact centre is open 7.00 am to 9.00 pm 7 days a week. Rosters will be confirmed, but you can choose from part-time or full-time hours. You will need to be available for the full-time training which is 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday for the first two weeks.

Applicants must have NZ residency and will pass credit and police vetting checks.
