Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Our mission is to support the delivery, resilience, and reliability of our core Financial Crime Screening application NetReveal. We are currently upgrading our core screening application to a newer version and uplifting capability. We are a cross-functional team, allowing us to work with some autonomy.

  • Help deploy and configure components for our core application from our vendor.
  • Create and maintain Jenkins / CloudBees pipelines.
  • Maintain platform observability with Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Support the NetReveal application, including being in an after-hours on-call roster.
  • Be a contributing member of the squad to help develop the technical Financial Crime Screening capability.

  • Must have strong troubleshooting & problem-solving skills with an ability to continuously learn and adapt to new and unfamiliar technologies.
  • Must have a strong understanding of Kubernetes & Helm.
  • Must have experience with Docker.
  • Must have strong Linux administration skills.
  • Must have experience with Database SQL.
  • Must have a good understanding of security best practices.
  • Must have a good understanding of how applications integrate with other systems.
  • Should have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle working in an Agile environment.
  • Should have a good understanding of CI/CD and source control (i.e. Git/Jenkins/Cloudbees).
  • Should have a good understanding of SSL certificate use and management.
  • Nice to have experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g. Java, Bash, Python).
  • Nice to have experience with IBM WebSphere
  • Nice to have experience with IBM MQ.
  • Nice to have experience with BMC Control M
  • Nice to have experience in the banking / payments sector.
