We have a fantastic opportunity for a Full Time, Operations Continuous Improvement and Planning Manager to join our DC Operations team based in Wiri, Manukau.

The primary responsibility of this role is the design, implementation and success of operational process improvements that align with the organisation's purpose and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the functionality and effectiveness of the Manhattan Scale Warehouse Management System (WMS) and DC Automation.
  • Deliver sustainable continuous improvements through systematic thinking, transparency, stakeholder engagement and documentation.
  • Supporting DC and Operations Managers to improve the efficiency and accuracy of operations.
  • Facilitating workshops to identify opportunities and manage change to ensure new processes are delivered, monitored and reviewed.
  • Overseeing the accurate documentation of DC processes.
  • WMS subject matter expert. Support the Operations Team with WMS issues.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Will have a Continuous Improvement background, be self-driven, and strive to deliver quality in all you do. As well as:

  • 5 - 10 years industry experience in a similar role (Continuous Improvement/Business Analyst/Project Management/) in an operation of a similar size
  • Work experience within the business and familiarity with ERP and WMS systems is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in a retail, FMCG or industrial B2B supply environment is preferable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in process and future state mapping
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Strong knowledge of ERP and WMS software
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills and demonstrate change management abilities
