Warehouse Store Person – 27.5 hours / week
Based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, we have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and driven Storeperson to join our team. This will be a sole position running the day-to-day duties of the warehouse.
As a Store Person, you would be responsible for:
• Picking and packing of orders, booking courier orders and creating invoices in our ERP system.
• Receiving and storage of goods, including quality checks on inwards goods from suppliers before receipting.
• Upkeep of warehouse and day-to-day functions, ensuring a clean and hazard-free area.
• General warehouse duties.
We require someone who:
• is reliable with a great attitude, is a team player, is customer service oriented and a ‘hands on’ approach to work.
• Has a minimum of 12 months warehouse Store Person role or similar.
• Is fit and able to be in a physical role on foot for part of the day.
• Has basic mathematics, writing and computer skills.
• Has forklift licence or knows how to drive one; training will be provided to the successful applicant.
• Computer and Systems literate - Basic Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and Outlook
• Is able to work unsupervised
• Is punctual, reliable with a safety focus.
Your normal hours of work will be between 7.30am – 1.00pm, Monday – Friday, 5.5 hours per day, 27.5 per week. Hours in excess of 40 hours per week will be paid at overtime rate of time and a half of the ordinary pay rate. You will need to be flexible and available to work extra hours as and when required.
