part time casual cleaner

Cleaning at houses around Christchurch, including Northwood, Merivale, Fendalton, city centre, and some western suburbs. Some commercial work also. Scheduled mostly weekdays, 8am-3pm, jobs are 1-3.5 hours each. Jobs can be stacked near each other to minimize unpaid travel time, or just one for the day. Base is near the city centre, where you can take a company car and cloths, vacuum, etc, or you may be fully self-sufficient and take the higher pay rate of a sub-contractor.

Requirements:

• Cleaning experience: you know how to wipe a mirror, brush a toilet bowl, or where mould in a shower gathers, how to do kitchens, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, dusting
• Trainable: don't worry if you fall a little short in the above, as long as you can work with others
• Eye for detail: to you, dirt & dust stick out like dogs' balls
• Time management: need to balance that attention to detail with an efficient pace
• Able to use Google Maps on your cell phone to get job info
• Driving: you have a valid driver's license. Having your own car would increase work options
• Available: You're not going to be called away for sick kids, but you might be able to start work in an hour
• Don't need a lot of work: you are more interested in varying your week rather than earning money
• Physically fit: it can be demanding
