                    We are looking for a full time Trade Centre Manager based in our Whangarei Trade Centre who understands the importance of personalised customer service and can motivate a dedicated sales and service team!

                    This is a true leadership role that gives you the opportunity to run your store as your own and really make your mark.

                    Key responsibilities will include:

                    • Delivering an exceptional customer experience by overseeing all aspects of store sales and operations
                    • Developing a high performing team of Trade Sales Assistants including recruitment, induction, training, and ongoing development
                    • Driving sales growth whilst ensuring efficiency in operational costs
                    • Building relationships with our diverse range of customers and the local community to become the region’s trusted source of industrial expertise.
                    • Ensuring a high standard of store presentation and merchandising to ensure a positive customer experience.
                    • Maintaining best practice in inventory management ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained and inventory records are accurate.
                    • Collaborating with the sales team and other departments for the overall success of the region and business

                    Our Ideal Candidate?

                    • Proven experience (min 2 years) managing a medium – large retail, sales, or trade sector operation.
                    • An organised and passionate individual with the ability to take the team to the next level and build a great culture.
                    • Excellent communication, leadership and relationship building skills coupled with initiative and ‘can do’ attitude will make you stand out.
                    • Champion for delivering excellence and continuous improvement.
                    • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
                    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
                    • Strong knowledge of health and safety practices and procedures.
