Store Receiver / Store Person (Despatch)

Location: 143 Vogel Street, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016

Hours: Mon-Fri Approx 25 hours per week / 8:30am - 2:00pm

We are looking for someone that:

• Has exposure to stock management processes
• Can work un-supervised
• Is process driven & has strong planning, timekeeping, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Is computer savvy (Microsoft Office, Excel & Outlook)
  Note: SAP Inventory Management System knowledge is beneficial 
• Is a great communicator as you will be dealing with a diverse range of internal and external customers
• Is passionate and thorough about the quality they produce

Some of your responsibilities would include:

• Receipting and unpacking our overseas DC pallets 
• Receipting and unpacking our NZ local supplier orders
  Note: No forklift qualifications necessary.
• Communicating with vendors and solving any problems with them
• Working with Department Team Leaders to effectively support stock flowing through to the shop floor
• Running and analysing stock reporting and ensuring the stores database is accurate
• Communicating with stores for transfers of stock
• Managing emails and communications with internal contacts and external suppliers
• Packing and sending online orders

You will be responsible for organising all aspects of receiving inwards and outwards goods and have a sound knowledge of stockroom control.

You will also need to be a team player, physically fit as some heavy lifting is required and have a professional and positive attitude to support the standards of the store.
