Retail Sales Assistant - Furnishings

Location: 143 Vogel Street, Central Dunedin, Dunedin 9016

Department: Furnishings

Role: Part-time approx 30 hours per week / Tues - Saturday.
 

We have a great opportunity becoming available for our Dunedin store. We are looking for a passionate sales star.

• Assisting customers with their queries and providing advice on products
• Assisting Team Leaders with stock management and forward planning processes
• Maintaining vigilance to minimize stock losses and take appropriate and timely action where required
• Contributing to in-store based promotions and displays
• Some heavy lifting may be required

To be considered for this role, you will be expected to demonstrate:

• Passion for customer service and selling
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to go the extra mile for the customer
• A good eye for detail & time management skills
• Numerical abilities and cutting accuracy
• Up selling and add on selling skills
• Point of Sale systems experience
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Experience or interest in any or all Spotlight products is advantageous
