Hotel Maintenance Handyperson

Willis Wellington Hotel, just walking-distance from Cuba Street, is on the hunt for a Maintenance Handyperson to look after day-to-day maintenance issues and proactively maintain the upkeep of the property.

This is a part-time role to look after the Hotel's day to day Maintenance jobs

Key responsibilities

• Handle routine maintenance issues
• Maintain the building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings
• Communicate with hotel departments regarding maintenance needs and action accordingly
• Be responsible for reporting hazards, incidents, and ensuring your actions do not put others at risk. 
• Assist with other duties as directed by Maintenance Managers

Requirements for this role include

• Previous maintenance experience
• General handyman, plaster, plumbing, and painting skills
• Sound knowledge of health & safety in relation to your role
• Self-motivation and discipline, someone with passion for getting the job done to a high quality
• The ability to work without supervision
• Strong problem solving skills
• Well groomed, personable and friendly
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Energetic and honest personality
