Parcel Packer for Online Store in Whangarei

One of our lovely staff is leaving to set up her own business, so we are searching for a new parcel packer to work Mondays and Wednesdays 9am to 5pm, packing parcels and pricing and putting away stock. The role suits a person who doesn't have other commitments, as there is the option to also cover for other packers when they are away.
It does suit a person who is fit and healthy and has lots of energy, as the position involves standing all day. It also suits a person who rates their intelligence highly, and who is patient with themselves, as there is a huge learning curve involved. Our huge range of products comes with a huge range of packing methods. We need a person who listens well and can follow instructions, who can take notes and follow them, and who is committed to doing things the company way. You also need to be able to use a PC, and ideally you have some experience with accounting or stock management software. Ideally we are looking for a person with experience in this field, but full training is given. There is a small amount of daily contact with the public, so you need to have the confidence to talk with them and find out their needs. May suit an older person either looking to drop down from fulltime but wanting to keep active and engaged, or a retired person who wants/needs the income. The pay is above industry standards.
