Since 1991, Warehouse Stationery has also been successfully innovating in the stationery-retail sector and overtime we have incorporated more of this business within The Warehouse stores as a ‘Store within a Store’ (SWAS) to serve our valued customers with a true ‘one stop shop’ for all their personal, household and office needs.
The SWAS Trading Manager is responsible for the Stationery shop floor area, including the print and copy centre, as well as the Entertainment and Technology area of The Warehouse.
Leading the teams of those areas, you will deliver and maintain blue-print and merchandising standards and deliver the trading plans, overseeing the implementation and maintenance of planograms and ensuring pricing integrity and availability meets expectations.
You will also provide support for the opening and closing of the store and take on sole charge of the entire store when required.
Ideally to be successful in this role you will at least have:
· Demonstrated successful leadership experience
· The ability to interpret and execute plans with a good eye for detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
Everything you do will contribute to a positive customer experience, an engaged team and a profitable store
We can talk for days about our additional leave options, wellness programmes, and range of discounts that are available. But there's more to it than that. It's the trust, support & flexibility within our team that sets us apart. We have a framework to help you get things done, but you have the freedom to make the real magic happen in your store.
The Warehouse Group is the parent brand that owns and supports The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery and Noel Leeming.
As NZ’s largest retailer our purpose is simple; “helping kiwis live better every day”. It means we strive to meet our customer’s changing expectations and continue to ensure we have a positive impact on our communities and environment.
We employ over 10,000 team members across the country and have a commitment to giving all people fair and equal opportunities, actively working to eliminate barriers that often prevent candidates from being considered for a role. As a committed member of EEO we are constantly looking for measures we can take to ensure we hire on merit, operate with fairness and promote based on talent. We want to ensure our team can perform at their best and are rewarded fairly. This isn’t just the right thing to do, but makes great business sense. As a group we benefit because when all team members are included and supported to bring their whole and best selves to work, we retain our finest people and the innovation that comes from true diversity of thought.
Here at The Warehouse Group, we are also proud to offer a range of benefits that work for our team members, their lifestyle and their career – such as a team discount card across our brands, lifestyle leave, a paid day off on your birthday, career break options, and loads more!
