LIFEGUARDS - FULLTIME, PART-TIME, CASUAL ON CALL

ABOUT THE ROLE – NGĀ ĀHUATANGA O TE TŪRANGA
Our pool facilities are more popular than ever, and as a Lifeguard for the AC Baths you will play a key part in ensuring that all customers not only have a fantastic experience, but a safe one. Your main responsibilities will include:
o Overseeing swimmers and making sure everyone’s enjoying the water safely; and
o Supporting the Team Leader with day-to-day operations at the pools
o Being the hero on standby — ready to assist and respond if needed.
o Creating a welcoming, fun atmosphere for all ages.
o Keeping the poolside neat and upholding safety rules with a smile.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - KEI TE KIMI MĀTOU I TĒNEI MOMO TANGATA
It goes without saying that you’ll have a passion for aquatics and sharing your knowledge and experience with customers and colleagues to improve water safety. You will be an excellent communicator, mature and committed to making a difference in our local community.
Joining an energetic and passionate team, this role is suited to candidates that are resilient and laser focused. You will be working in a fast-paced environment across our indoor and outdoor pool areas to ensure a positive Health and Safety culture.
We are looking for people with:
o Lifeguard certification, CPR, and first aid skills (or willingness to train),
o A sharp eye for safety and a friendly attitude.
o Great communication and a knack for helping people
o A love for staying active and being part of a positive team.
Please note our pools operate 7 days a week, reliability and commitment to working early, late and some weekend shifts are crucial.
