Your new role
We have several opportunities in our Auckland office to join our vibrant and motivated consumer insurance team to provide underwriting solutions that deliver excellent service and great outcomes for our customers. You will be expected to:
- Provide a customer focused and profitable underwriting solution for existing and new business.
- Handle queries from existing customers and partners regarding their Insurance policies.
- Effectively handle and action any customer complaints.
- Provide excellent customer service by identifying and resolving any quoting, processing or underwriting issues.
- Proactively assessing customer needs and finding the best insurance solution for them.
- Being a supportive, collaborative and actively involved team player.
- Looking to contribute ideas and initiatives to continually improve our customer experience.
To shine in this role, you will have:
- Previous insurance underwriting experience - highly regarded
- Previous corporate experience, particularly focused on customer service or relationship management
- An engaging personality with a passion for interacting with customers and partners
- A drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience in every interaction
- The self-motivation to achieve goals and objectives
- Effective communication, questioning and listening skills
- A great work ethic with a positive attitude and outlook
