Play Time OSCAR Programmes is seeking mature, energetic, happy people to join our vibrant team of 18 - 73 yr olds!   Preference for applicants with full driver’s licences who are prepared to drive children short distances in our MPVs, vans and buses.

Key attributes:

  • Fun and full of energy, willing and able to relate to children aged 5-13yrs (experience with groups of children preferred)
  • Being aware (eyes in the back of your head :-) )
  • Responsible and reliable, able to work in a team but also independently with a group of children and be proactive
  • Friendly with good communication skills and presentation (role-modelling behaviour and appearance)
  • Full driver’s licence – please indicate if you can drive a manual (not essential but preferred)
  • Current first aid preferred but not essential

Key duties:

  • Keeping children safe, happy and entertained - includes calling roll, facilitating activities which include crafts, games, sports, baking etc, supporting the Lead Supervisor.
  • Setting up and setting down the venue
  • Preparing simple afternoon teas

On-the-job training will be provided, as well as formal training.

Permanent part-time and casual positions available.

Hours during school term time are between 2pm/2.30pm – 4pm/4.30pm

Minimum 9 hours/week

More hours are available during school holidays.
