Mt Eden Gardens Arena Living is a small, boutique retirement village with a friendly community and family-like spirit in the heart of Mt Eden Village. Our dedicated team strive to ensure our residents are at the heart of everything we do, and we aim to delight and enrich their lives every day.
About the role
The Cook is an all-rounder, sole charge role and responsible for cooking a traditional Sunday roast dinner for our residents. We provide homecooked style food for our residents, so this is a great position for someone who has experience cooking for their family or wishes to improve their cooking skills in an autonomous environment.
Qualifications Required
The ideal candidate must have relevant kitchen experience and a current First Aid certificate is preferable.

2:00pm – 6:30pm Sunday

Experience/Knowledge Required
- Sound Hospitality experience
- Sound food preparation experience
- Demonstrated competence in a similar role
- Highly motivated and able to take initiative
- Flexibility
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times

- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team, and be highly responsible and reliable
