Warehouse Picker Dispatch Person
PAL (Paint Aids Ltd) is a privately owned company which has been manufacturing and distributing in New Zealand since 1961. We have invested heavily in the latest equipment including scanners, software, and are looking for a capable and enthusiastic person to join our warehouse team.
The role will involve picking using scanners, packing the order and completing the dispatch process. The ability to comprehend and follow Standard Operating Procedures and an adherence to detail is important to this role. However full training will be given, and any new applicant will be supported by existing staff as they learn the ropes. This is a low stress environment and the team is very mindful of how a new person may need time to adapt to the role.
There may be flexibility in regard to hours and days worked, we are happy to discuss with the applicant and come up with a plan suit their needs.
The successful applicant will be able to read and follow instructions, follow written procedures, be happy interacting with a wide range of cultures, and must be able to commit to working as part of a team. It would be an advantage (but not a necessity) if the applicant had previous warehouse and fork Hoist experience.
This role involves walking, picking from shelves and reading. However the items being picked are generally light and for the odd heavier item there are always Team members ready to assist.
