Surface with A Smile was founded in 1987 by owner Brett Walker, originally working out of a small factory off Henderson Valley Road; finally settling where the main office is today @ 53 Portage Road, New Lynn. Brett’s background includes being a qualified Car Painter by trade who has successfully diversified into cabinetry
It became obvious in the last 10 years that a new kitchen is not an affordable option for everyone, translating into what we do @ this site today. To re-use, re-cycle existing kitchen / laundry / bathroom cabinetry where possible (most of the time), is not only cost effective, environmentally friendly, but rewarding.
