The Opportunity

We’re searching for a Permanent Part-Time School Bus Driver working 20 hours per week to join our team in Palmerston East, Otago. This run offers some of the most stunning coastal scenery in the country as you travel along the Shag Point and Hampden beach coastline.

Reporting to our Oamaru Depot, you will work school bus hours, before and after school, and enjoy school holidays off (excluding occasional training or development commitments). There is also the opportunity to pick up extra charter work when required.

As part of this role, you will need to have an email address and be able to use — or be willing to learn to use — apps on your mobile phone. You will also need to be comfortable receiving digital remote support from our Oamaru Office.

Your Skills

• Full Class 2 NZ Licence (minimum)
• P Endorsement
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communicator
• Able to use (or willing to learn) mobile phone apps
• Able to receive remote digital support from our Oamaru Office
