Are you ready to take the next step in your career and play a key role in keeping Aotearoa connected? We're on the lookout for passionate and proactive Network Day of Operations Specialists to join our Auckland-based team in permanent positions. 

This role is all about keeping our national network running smoothly — managing, monitoring, and adapting in real time to ensure our service performance levels are consistently met. You'll be the tactical connector between operational sites and our transport backbone, helping us deliver what matters most to New Zealanders every day. You'll also be working closely with our National Network Manager and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

We have fixed shifts (afternoon and evening) with some weekend work required. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinating transport schedules and optimising loads across the network
  • Responding quickly to operational challenges and implementing contingency plans
  • Supporting driver safety and wellbeing, and ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Managing cost-effective transport solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborating across teams and building strong relationships internally and externally

What we're looking for:

  • Someone with great communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience in transport dispatch and operations
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong understanding of MS Office tools
