Reporting to the Regional Manager - South Island, you will be responsible for leading the mail, courier and rural provincial delivery teams within the Southland, to be high performing teams.
You'll lead a motivated, multi-layered operational team, working through experienced people leaders to guide frontline and contractor teams. Together, you'll support processing and customer-facing staff who are focused on delivering what Kiwis care about, every day.
Key to your success in this role is putting safety first, commercial savvy and service performance, team engagement & productivity results.

It is a big job - day to day the role is Monday to Friday, however, real flexibility in working hours will be required to provide visibility to the teams and that can mean nights, early mornings and weekend work as needed to attend to issues/escalations.
This role covers a broad geographical area including rural & provincial Southland and surrounds, so some travel is expected as part of the role and a company vehicle is provided as part of your package.
