Ritchies Transport is looking for a reliable, safety‑minded Full Time School Bus Driver & Vehicle Detailer to join our Morrinsville team. This position combines professional driving with responsibility for keeping our fleet clean, tidy, and ready for service.

About the Role

This is a full‑time, fixed term role that includes daily school runs, additional driving duties, and scheduled vehicle cleaning throughout the week.

Driving Responsibilities

• Transport students safely on morning and afternoon school runs
• Operate vehicles in a professional, responsible manner
• Complete daily pre-trip inspections and follow safety procedures
• Support a positive, calm environment for young passengers
• Additional charter or transfer work as required

Detailing Responsibilities

• Clean interior areas: sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, emptying rubbish
• Wash and maintain the exterior of buses
• Report damage, maintenance needs, graffiti, or safety concerns
• Keep the fleet presentable and ready for the next day’s service

What We’re Looking For

• A current Class 2 licence
• A valid Passenger (P) Endorsement
• Strong attention to detail and pride in vehicle presentation
• Friendly, patient communication with students and the public
• Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to safe driving
• Ability to work independently while following depot processes
