Job Description

Integrity Risk Analyst

  • Bring your curiosity, critical thinking and collaboration
  • Unique role with mix of data analysis, triaging and relationships
  • Based in East Tamaki, Auckland

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

If you're passionate about data, integrity and making a real difference for a nationwide organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for an Integrity Risk Analyst to join our Integrity Services team — someone who loves digging into data, spotting patterns, and strengthening trust across our network.

In this role, your insights help protect our people, customers, assets and brand. You'll analyse data across NZ Post's products and services, identify indicators of potential dishonesty, and provide sound recommendations that lead to safer, smarter, more resilient operations.

You'll do that by:

  • Monitoring and analysing internal NZ Post data and information to identify trends, anomalies and risk indicators
  • Supporting investigations through high quality data interpretation
  • Delivering accurate, timely insights to support early risk intervention
  • Turning analytical findings into clear, practical recommendations
  • Lifting data quality and consistency with an integrity focus
  • Leading improvements in analysis tools, methods and dashboards
  • Partnering closely with Freight Investigators, Contact Centre teams, and Data & Technology to strengthen our risk detection capability

Mōu - About you

You're a data advocate - you see opportunities and how data tells a story.   You're comfortable pulling data from multiple sources, putting forward ideas and equally motivated by connecting with others to find smarter ways of working.

You might have previously worked within a loss prevention or fraud investigation space, where your focus was on data analysis that supported and enabled a smarter, more effective team.

You'll combine that with:

  • Experience in an analytical role within a large, complex organisation
  • Strength in extracting, analysing and presenting data-driven insights
  • Familiarity with NZ Post, Customs, Police or similar environments (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong skills in Excel and MS Office, plus experience with Power BI and/or Salesforce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • A structured, inquisitive mindset and the ability to turn complexity into clarity
  • Relevant analytical or investigative qualifications are welcomed.
