PART-TIME PRACTICAL HANDYMAN / ASSEMBLY PERSON – 2 DAYS A WEEK

Rotaform Plastics is looking for a practical, hands-on person to join our warehouse team for around 2 days per week.

This isn't a typical warehouse job.

A key part of the role will be assembling our large commercial front-load waste bins. As we develop and refine the product, there will also be some fitting, grinding, drilling and minor adjustment work using power and hand tools.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is practical and mechanically minded
• Is confident using grinders, drills and other hand/power tools
• Can measure, fit, adjust and work things out
• Takes pride in doing a job properly
• Is reliable and happy working independently
• Is comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment

A building, fabrication, mechanical, maintenance or engineering background would be useful, but formal qualifications aren't essential. Practical ability and attitude are more important to us.

The role could suit someone looking for a couple of regular days each week alongside other work or commitments.

Initially we envisage around 2 full days per week, with some flexibility around which days are worked.

We're a long-established New Zealand manufacturing business based in Airport Oaks.
