A well-established processing operation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to assist with the upkeep and reliability of plant equipment.
This role would ideally suit a highly experienced or semi-retired tradesperson, or a retired engineer, who enjoys practical, hands-on work and would welcome flexible hours while contributing their expertise to a small operational team.
The position involves preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and assisting with improvements to plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on industrial machinery
Assist with installation and modification of plant equipment
Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
Work alongside operations staff to minimise downtime
Maintain a safe working environment and follow health & safety procedures
