We are a warm, busy household with two professional parents and two teenage children, seeking a dependable and experienced housekeeper to help keep our home running smoothly. We also have two friendly dogs, so comfort working around pets is essential. This job would suit an empty nester looking for a part-time role.
Role Summary
The housekeeper will be responsible for the overall cleanliness, organization, and day-to-day upkeep of the home. This includes regular maintenance cleaning, deeper scheduled cleaning, laundry and linen care, ironing, and general household support. The role also involves assisting with dinner preparation for the family.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a consistently clean, tidy, and well-organized home
- Perform routine cleaning as well as periodic deep-cleaning tasks
- Manage laundry, bed linens, and ironing
- Support with meal preparation
- Care for household surfaces, floors, bathrooms, and common areas
- Occasional cleaning of appliances, storage areas, and windows as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a housekeeper in a private home
- Comfortable working in a home with dogs
- Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
