Receptionist

Masterton Foot Clinic is an innovative Podiatry clinic bringing world-class technology home to the Wairarapa for over 20 years. We have a fantastic team, supporting each other through good times and bad. We strive to do our best, we are accountable and we have fun.

We are currently on the look-out for a part-time Receptionist, with a likely start date in mid-late April. The role will be circa 17 hours, Monday to Thursday (incl. Tues and Thurs evenings until 6/6:30pm). We are looking for people with flexibility in their lives, as we help to cover each other when taking annual/sick leave. You would need to be available during school holidays.

Your role would involve a mixture of front-desk activities such as greeting patients, answering phones, using our computer systems and taking payments. Our reception can be a busy hub of activity, so you’ll be someone who can remain calm under pressure.

You may also need to assist the Podiatrists and our Patients with tasks involving feet from all walks of life. This will include handling other people’s feet – for example, measuring for shoe fittings, assisting patients with socks and shoes and potentially foot bathing, foot massage and assisting the Podiatrist with minor surgeries.

Prior experience is not essential to us, but a positive attitude and “living the MFC values” are. Our focus is to find someone with:
