Ritchies Transport is looking for reliable and safety-focused School / Charter Drivers to join our team.

About the Role:

As a School / Charter Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of passengers, ensuring a positive and professional experience on every journey.

 

Your duties will include:

  • Safely operating a bus on assigned school and/or charter routes
  • Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all passengers at all times
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing Ritchies in a professional manner
  • Following all company policies, procedures, and NZ road safety regulations
  • This role typically involves split shifts (morning and afternoon school runs), with opportunities for additional charter work during the day, evenings, and weekends. 
  • 20 hours per fortnight

What You’ll Need:

  • Class 2 licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • P endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
  • A strong focus on safety and reliability
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass pre-employment checks (including MOJ and medical)
