
Customer Billing Specialist

Our Finance Operations team incorporates Customer Billing, Credit Control and Accounts Payable & Purchasing. This multi-functional group has responsibility for providing efficient and cost-effective billing, invoicing, and payment support services to meet the needs of internal and external customers for NZ Post.
In this busy and varied role, you'll be responsible for supporting customer billing activities and helping resolve billing queries and adjustments, efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all billing information our customers receive is accurate and arrives in a timely manner to enable prompt payment. You'll play an important role in supporting a positive and seamless experience for both internal and external customers.
There will be opportunities to contribute to process improvements and projects, including identifying and supporting initiatives that enhance billing accuracy and efficiency. As part of the wider Group Finance team you'll be expected to work collaboratively and, at times, with the flexibility to pick up the work of other roles within the team to achieve team objectives. A vital part of this role is to work closely with the Credit Control team to meet our key objectives and targets.
Mōu - About you
You'll have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and you'll have mastered the fundamentals of quality in this space, including a strong phone manner, excellent attention to detail and a team focused approach. Experience in Accounts Receivable or customer billing would be an advantage, but is not essential.
