
Project & Portfolio Finance Specialist
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Come and join our Project & Portfolio team in this newly created role, where you'll sit at the centre of how we manage and deliver our change portfolio.
Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management, you will define, embed and continuously improve financial processes that support effective project delivery and portfolio decision making. Partnering closely with stakeholders across finance, projects, and senior leadership you'll help to bring clarity and confidence to portfolio financials. With a strong focus on governance, reporting and forecasting, you will help build capability, improve consistency, and ensure better outcomes for both our people and our customers.

You are a seasoned finance professional with strong experience across project or portfolio environments. You bring a mix of technical expertise and the ability to influence, communicate and tell a clear story with numbers. You enjoy working in complexity and are confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
You are naturally curious and improvement focused, with the ability to step back, assess current ways of working, and implement practical changes that make a difference. With an approachable and engaging style, you build strong, trusted relationships at all levels.
