Senior Product Manager

• Own the strategy, roadmap and performance of NZ Post's Consumer product portfolio
• Drive customer, commercial and operational outcomes across complex service-based products and services
• Lead and influence across multiple teams, systems and stakeholders
• Based in Highbrook East Tamaki, Auckland, with WFH flexibility

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

We're looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap and performance of NZ Post's Consumer portfolio, spanning domestic and international products and services.

This is a true Product Management role with accountability for product strategy, prioritisation, commercial outcomes and lifecycle management. You'll balance customer needs with business objectives, ensuring our products remain relevant, competitive and deliver value for both customers and NZ Post.

Working across Consumer, Digital, Data & Technology, Operations and Supply Chain teams, you'll influence stakeholders, navigate complex dependencies and drive alignment to deliver successful outcomes. You'll also champion strong product management disciplines and continuously improve product processes and ways of working.

This role includes one direct report and offers the opportunity to coach and develop an established team member.

We're seeking an experienced Product Manager.  You'll bring deep product management expertise, with experience leading product strategy, roadmap ownership, prioritisation and delivering measurable customer and commercial outcomes. You thrive in complex environments and know how to influence stakeholders, drive alignment and deliver results across multiple teams and systems.

You'll bring:

• Proven Product Management experience in complex organisations
• Strong product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle management capability
• Proven success delivering outcomes in service-based environments
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, influencing and collaboration skills
• Ability to navigate complexity across multiple systems and teams
• Strong commercial acumen with a customer-first mindset
• Strategic, pragmatic and delivery-oriented
• Passion for developing others
• Either an experienced Senior Product Manager or a Product Manager ready for the next step

Experience gained in industries such as telecommunications, banking, insurance, energy or other large-scale service organisations will be highly regarded, particularly where you've managed products spanning multiple backend systems and stakeholder groups.
