Energetic Weekend Stall Brand Ambassador and Salesperson Cambridge/Hamilton area and Tauranga area

We’re looking for two people people who thrive in a dynamic and busy farmers market environment and genuinely love artisan food and cooking. One based in the Cambridge/Hamilton area one in Tauranga.

We are looking for team members to tell the Opito Bay Salt story, sampling our award winning products to customers, explaining food pairings and processes behind our unique solar evaporated natural sea salt and finally closing the deal - processing cash and eftpos transactions.

This isn't for the faint hearted. We want a highly energetic person who will engage every potential customer. It's part of our sales methodology. There's no sitting in this role. It's out front, talking with everyone.

Experience isn't as important as reliability, enthusiasm and ability to understand how our story and what we do is the sales program.

You'll need to be able to store product, put up a marquee by yourself and be comfortable to lift boxes up to 15kg.  You must have a vehicle and be able to transport a small marquee. The most important thing you can bring to the job is high energy, enthusiasm and fun! The successful candidates will be trained and be comfortable before embarking on the season. This is weekend work. Primarily Saturday and Sunday mornings depending on the market schedule. Around 7am to 1pm - again depending on market.
