At NZ Post, we're always looking for better ways to deliver for Aotearoa. As our Continuous Improvement Manager - Network, you'll lead and coordinate improvement activity across our Customer Service Delivery network, helping us strengthen safety, service performance and cost efficiency. Working at the heart of our operations, you'll translate business priorities into meaningful improvement programmes that create lasting value for our people, customers and business.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll work closely with CSD leaders and teams to identify opportunities, solve complex challenges and deliver improvements at scale. You'll bring structure, momentum and focus to a network-wide pipeline of initiatives, ensuring change is practical, measurable and embedded into the way we work every day.

You'll achieve that by:

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives across the national network
  • Turning strategic priorities into practical delivery programmes
  • Identifying, shaping and prioritising improvement opportunities
  • Driving measurable gains in safety, service and cost performance
  • Partnering with operational leaders to deliver sustainable change
  • Monitoring outcomes and ensuring benefits are realised and embedded

Mōu - About you

As an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager, you're a natural problem solver who enjoys bringing people together to improve how things work. You thrive in complex operational environments, can confidently navigate ambiguity, and know how to influence and engage stakeholders at every level. Just as importantly, you're someone who values collaboration, builds trusted relationships and leads with a continuous improvement mindset.

You'll bring strong experience delivering large-scale improvement programmes and a proven ability to turn insight into action. Whether your background is logistics, supply chain or another operationally focused environment, you'll be comfortable working with data, balancing competing priorities and delivering outcomes that stick. You'll also bring deep knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies and know how to make continuous improvement practical and meaningful for frontline teams.

  • Proven success leading complex improvement programmes at scale
  • Strong expertise in Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent methodologies
  • Ability to build trust and influence across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience delivering measurable outcomes in operational settings
  • Commercial thinking supported by strong analytical capability
  • Passion for creating safer, smarter and more effective ways of working
