Parcel Packer/ Warehouse Keeper for Busy Ecommerce Store Whangarei

This parcel packer/ warehouse keeper part-time position is perfect for a physically fit person with excellent computer skills as well as a brain that loves working out puzzles.  

Ideally you will have worked in a warehouse or ecommerce or retail situation before, but what is most important is the intelligence to be able to learn quickly and problem solve easily.

For pricing and putting away stock, you will be able to touch type, ideally know your way around an accounting package, and have good eyesight.

For the parcel packing side of the job, you will be fit, able to stand all day, and carry a parcel up to 20kg in weight (most of our parcels are under 2 kg though).

You pack such a myriad of products (jewellery, books, skincare, trophies and more) in an order that your puzzle solving skills will come to the fore, as (with training) you will be fitting items together into the most efficient parcel.

We are looking for someone who can work 2 days a week (9 to 5), mostly pricing and putting away product.  We will train you for the packing role as well so you can fill in there when needed.  Ideally you can work those 2 days and be enthusiastic about doing extra days if needed, particularly in the lead up to Christmas.

This job is only suitable for someone who is looking for several stable years of employment.
