In this role, You’ll blend social media strategy with optimised web content, ensuring our digital presence supports a seamless customer journey and drives conversion.

Your mission? To enhance our brand’s market presence and fuel growth through insight-driven content strategies. No day will be the same, you’ll manage social calendars, optimise category and brand pages, and collaborate with internal experts and external partners to deliver multimedia content. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and publish engaging content across digital platforms including social media, blogs, websites, and email campaigns.
• Stay ahead of emerging social formats, SEO trends, AI tools and innovation — and champion what’s next for content at NZSB.
• Own and optimise key website content areas such as landing pages, category content, and editorial articles to ensure consistency and SEO performance.
• Develop and manage a social media calendar aligned with brand objectives, campaigns, and cultural moments.
• Drive audience growth and engagement through creative campaigns that increase subscribers and lead generation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce multimedia content including video, imagery, and graphics.
• Monitor and report on content performance, using insights to refine strategies and improve results.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends and integrate new formats and tools into content plans.

 Our Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in digital content creation or a similar role, with strong writing and editing skills.
• Proven understanding of content management systems.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and audience engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for creating innovative digital content.
• Qualification in marketing, communications, or related field is preferred but not essential.
