Processing Team Leader | Permanent Full-time | Whangarei
- Monday to Friday: 23:00-7:30
- $33.08 per hour paid fortnightly

The Processing Team Leader's role is to elevate the daily performance of a team of Processing Officers so that NZ Post products and parcels are sorted according to agreed processing criteria and performance targets. With the number of parcels increasing and being a key part of our dynamic national network, this area is kept on their toes.
Key to this role, of course, is people leadership and the ability to engage with truck drivers and contractors. You'll take a hands-on approach, demonstrating a commitment to safety and fostering a high performing and positive team culture. You will also need to have some admin skills as you'll oversee rostering, payroll and other important things that keep the team running smoothly. You will be looking after our Whangarei Operations Centre.
The shift for this role is:
- Monday to Friday: 23:00-7:30

What do we need from you:

Proven experience in leading teams
- Proven experience in logistics, operations, warehousing

Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the wider leadership team

Excellent communication skills to elevate the team culture and team performance

Ability to clearly assign tasks and set objectives
- Have a clean full NZ drivers license

Have a current OSH FL Certificate or F Endorsement or be willing to obtain one
