
Marketing Communications Lead

This is a big, important role at the heart of how NZ Post shows up to New Zealanders. As Marketing Communications Lead, you'll spearhead the way we connect brand, marketing strategy and execution, ensuring our work is aligned, impactful and delivering real commercial value. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications, you'll act as a trusted 2IC, helping shape how the wider marketing practice works, performs and continues to evolve.
You'll lead our Brand & Marketing Communications, Digital Communications and Design Centre's of Excellence (COEs), guiding strategy while supporting your teams and agency partners to deliver best-in-class campaigns and experiences. With strong foundations already in place, your focus will be on keeping momentum, embedding best practice, simplifying complexity and connecting the many moving parts across a large, service-led organisation.

You've worked in large, fast-moving environments and understand how to connect strategy with execution, bringing people with you along the way. You're equally comfortable shaping direction, challenging thinking and rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
You're a natural leader of leaders, known for your empathy, pragmatism and ability to influence. You build trust quickly, navigate stakeholder complexity with ease, and create an environment where people and ideas can thrive. You're also energised by what's next, from the application of AI to new ways of working, and how these can be applied in real, practical ways.
